Our church’s Vineyard Border Project is gearing up for another trip down to Brownsville on November 22-24^th, 2019.  There are 700-1000 men, women and children waiting at the bridge in Matamoras, Mexico, for court dates leading to possible entrance into the United States. These immigrants need food, supplies, clean drinking water, clean clothes as well as provisions for good hygiene.  Our job, this time around, is to prepare dinner for 600 the night of November 23^rd, help distribute and serve food, then be a part of the sidewalk school on the morning of the 24^th.

Please pray about your role in this project of doing justice NOW, being merciful NOW, and walking humbly NOW.  To be Jesus-y is to always show love in ways that can be felt by those who are in need.  Thomas Merton says, “Our job is to love without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.”
